EL Poto'S STATE FINALS PREDICTIONS
El Poto has peered into his crystal ball....who does he like?
Class 1A
Lafayette Central Catholic - Sheridan
The Knights are loaded. The one team that could stop them
up North? Pioneer. While the Blackhawks shift to the
Southern half of the 1A bracket, I actually think it will
help the young Blackhawks.
Class 2A
FW Luers - Indianapolis Ritter
Luers is always gonna be in the 2A picture. If Ritter gets
out of the sectional with defending 2A champ Heritage
Christian...look out!
Class 3A
West Lafayette - Indianapolis Chatard
West Lafayette is a team on a mission. If they find a
quarterback, the Red Devils will be hard to beat. Chatard is
another team on a mission...and let's face it folks...they're
Chatard.
Class 4A
FW Dwenger - Indianapolis Cathedral
I know Plymouth, Lowell and Concord have high expectations,
but I have a hunch on a rematch. Don't count out Jasper
down South in 4A either.
Class 5A
Valparaiso - Warren Central
I think the Vikings have a strong shot of getting to Lucas
Oil. Warren Central after a couple years away gets back to
establish themselves as the school of the decade in Indiana
football.
